ادب میں کچھ کتابیں ایسی ہوتی ہیں جو صرف کہانیاں سنانے سے آگے بڑھ کر قاری کے اندرونی سچ کو منور کرتی ہیں۔ دل کا چراغ بھی ایسی ہی ایک تخلیق ہے۔ دل کا فیصلہ اور عنوانی افسانہ دل کا چراغ جیسے بیانیے قاری کو انسانی وقار، اخلاقی جرأت اور مزاحمت کی اٹل روح پر گہری سوچ کی دعوت دیتے ہیں۔ یہ موضوعات عالمی سطح پر معنویت رکھتے ہیں، لیکن برصغیر کے تناظر میں—جہاں صنف، ایمان اور شناخت پر مکالمہ اکثر سماجی مزاحمت سے دوچار رہتا ہے—ان کی اہمیت دوچند ہو جاتی ہے۔
